Somali PM meets family of slain security agent, Ikran Tahlil Farah

Mogadishu Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Hussein Roble on Sunday met family of slain security agent, Ikran Tahlil Farah and shared his sorrow over her death with the family members, SONNA reported.

The Prime Minister confirmed to the family that he is committed to find justice for Ikran’s family and would take necessary action to ensure that matter. He called for a quick release to those arrested for the killing of the security agent.

Somalia’s Intelligence and Security Agency, NISA said Friday evening that Al-Shabaab militants abducted and killed Ikran Tahlil Farah who was missing more than two months, but that news made social outrage.

The Prime Minister said Saturday that the report of the Intelligence on the death of Ikran was unsatisfactory, ordering chief of the Security agency to bring complete report about the case within 48 hours.

Qaali Mohamud Guhad, Mother of Ikran Tahlil Farah, family’s tribal chief, Abdirahman Ugas Abdullahi and Hon. Amina Mohamed Abdi were key family members that the Prime Minister held meeting at his office in Mogadihsu.
