The Somali armed forces with the help of the local people have inflicted a heavy defeat on the Al-Shabab terrorists who were in Amal and Halaley areas near Halgan area of Hiran region.
The armed forces and the people seized a lot of weapons from the Al-Shabab terrorists as they fled the scene leaving seven of their dead men.
The army and the local people are in control of the areas where the fighting happened this afternoon and they are still in pursuit of the rest of the terrorists.
