Mogadishu, The Minister of Trade and Industry of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Jirbil Abdirashid Haji, has been holding private meetings with businessmen in the country and at the same time he has been delivering messages, warnings and orders to stop giving money to the Al-Shabab terrorist, held a meeting with some of the importers and exporters in Bakara market and Suuq Ba’ad market.
The Minister, who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry, Mr. Osman Mohamed Abdi (Daalo) and the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Abdiaziz Ibrahim Adan, ordered the businessmen to stop the payments to the terrorist group Al-Shabab, and anyone who does not comply with the government’s order will be held accountable.
Minister Jibril urged businessmen to refrain from any kind of dealings with Al-Shabab terrorists, pointing out that those caught in such acts will be recognized as members of the group and will be brought before the law immediately.
