Director of Bahrain Television, Qais Al-Dossary, has affirmed that Bahrain TV programmes during the holy month of Ramadan are varied, and suit all tastes, noting that they include religious and national programmes, various entertainment competitions, in addition to cookery shows and social programmes, among others.
He indicated that a daily local evening programme including quiz shows, and four social programmes will be broadcast during the holy month. In addition, a late evening programme, focusing on Bahraini personalities and including the Ramadan Quiz, will be shown at 11:00 pm.
Al-Dossary added that Bahrain TV will also broadcast four new series from Bahrain, the GCC and Egypt, in addition to cookery shows focusing on the best Bahraini traditional Bahraini dishes.
As for the programmes of the Bahrain Quran TV during the holy month of Ramadan, he said that they include religious competitions, programmes focusing on family and the spiritual aspect of the holy month. They will be presented mainly by Mohammed Al-Said, Dr. Shaikh Rashid Al-Hajri and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Grand Imam.
Bahrain International TV’s programmes will also be varied, as they will focus on the religious features of Ramadan, cooking and health, in addition to Prophet Mohammed’s hadiths (Sayings) and miracles.
They also include a competition for kids and a number of translated old Bahraini series.
