Speaker of the Somali Parliament visits the IAEA agency

Vienna, Austria, The Speaker of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobe) visited the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) based in Vienna, Austria, and its members are 175 countries, and it stands for the peaceful use of nuclear weapons.

 

The Speaker was welcomed to the center by the director general of the organization, Mr. Rafael Grossi, and he was given an explanation of the benefits of Somalia’s membership, including security from the effects of nuclear power, water and sea cleanliness, monitoring the movement of dangerous weapons and the funding and support of organizations working on these issues.

 

Thee Speaker praised the role of the agency in protecting clean water on land and sea and monitoring dangerous nuclear weapons, and said it is important that Somalia is one of the countries that benefit from this agency.
