SOMALIA’S PRESIDENT ON TWO-DAY VISIT TO ETHIOPIA
ADDIS ABABA, May 4 (NNN-ENA) -- President Mohammed Abdullahi Mohammed of Somalia has arrived in Addis Ababa for a two-day official visit to Ethiopia.
Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport here Wednesday, the president was welcomed by Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn and other high-ranking Ethiopian officials.
The president is expected to discuss bilateral and regional issues with President Mulatu Teshome, Hailemariam and other officials. They will also discuss trade, investment and aviation, it was indicated.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, was elected president on Feb 8, 2017, after defeating former president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud after two rounds of voting. He presviously served as prime minister. -- NNN-ENA
