Somalia, Turkey mark a decade of Diplomatic relations

Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somalia and Turkey on Thursday marked a decade of diplomatic relations here in Mogadishu and Ankara, SONNA reported.

“The ten-years of brotherly relationship between #Somalia & #Turkey tangible progress have been achieved including education, health, business relationship, economic development, bilateral relations, rebuilding of Somali national army and diplomacy”, Government spokesperson, Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu quoting the Deputy Prime Minister, Mahdi Guled, said in Twitter post.

Dr. Abdinasir Abdille Mohamed, one of Somali Presidential candidates commanded Turkish support to Somalia during the decade.

“#Somalia & #Turkey enjoy historic, brotherly relations. We commend Turkish aid, statebuilding & development support. On the occasion of a #DecadeofFriendship, we share our appreciation w/ the people, govt & leadership of #Turkey & look forward to a shared future of prosperity”, He said on Twitter post.

The two countries enjoy fruitful friendship and cooperation while both sides are investing the two countries.
