Baidoa, The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a ceremony held in Baidoa on the campaign of ‘Green Somalia’s’ second phase in Southwest State of Somalia.
The President pointed the importance of the plants and the reduction of deforestation in the country, and urged the administration of Bay region to encourage the society to plant trees and other plants so that the aim of Green Somalia can be successful.
The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Somali Parliament, Aden Mohamed Nur, the Southwest State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), the former President of Southwest State, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan, Federal and State Ministers and Youth of the city of Baidoa.
