Somali Disaster Management Agency sends emergency aid to the Somali people in liberated areas

Mogadishu, The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) sent emergency aid to nearly 1,400 families in distress in areas of Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions.

The director of the agency, Mr. Abdirishid Mohamed Hassan, who spoke to the media, said that the first emergency aid was carried out on the ground.

“We have sent emergency aid to families in distress in Rage-Eele and Adayle districts in the Middle Shabelle region, which we are delivering to remote areas where our people are suffering,” said Director Abdirishiid.

The emergency aid that was delivered to Adayle and Rage-Eele areas includes the important food items for these families who are suffering from the conditions caused by the drought, and the Disaster Relief and Management Agency is focusing on speeding up the relief and the providing for our Somali people who have faces difficult situation.
