Manama, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has asserted that the outstanding results of Cityscape Bahrain 2022, the region’s largest real estate summit and exhibition, reflects the sound approach adopted by the real estate sector thanks to the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He indicated that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister had built momentum for first edition of Cityscape Bahrain, leading to its success in terms of sales, participation and number of visitors.
He added that Cityscape Bahrain 2022, which was among the first three major events hosted by Exhibition World Bahrain, in Sakhir, included more than 10,000 exhibited properties for mega real estate projects worth BD967, noting that about 689 properties were sold in four days only at a total value of BD 101 million.
Cityscape Bahrain 2022 also featured the launch of seven new real estate project, as well as the signing of numerous partnership and cooperation agreements.
RERA chief pointed out that the Middle East and Africa MEA Proptech Summit was also held on the sidelines of Cityscape Bahrain 2022, given the importance of technology in developing the real estate sector.
