Garowe, The President of the State of Puntland of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Said Abdullahi Deni attended the Puntland conference of Agriculture Development held in Garowe today.
The Conference was attended by the President of Puntland, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture who prepared the meeting, the State Minister of the Presidency and Ministries cooperating with the Ministry of Agriculture of Puntland, advisers to the President, members of the Puntland House of Representatives, community organizations, businessmen and Puntland farmers.
The Minister of Agriculture of Puntland presented at the meeting the development of the production of Puntland Agriculture and the different crops that are produced in the Puntland and the support they need from different sectors.
The President expressed the importance of the Government to agricultural production, urging the people of Puntland to increase production.
President Dani stated that the government is preparing a plan to invest reasonably in businessmen and people who come up with business innovations in agriculture and the development of the country’s production.
