National Consultative talks kicks off in Mogadishu

Mogadishu(SONNA)-National Consultative talks between the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal member states on Monday kicked off in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.

The talks aimed at to focus on speeding up to hold the election in the country and review what has been achieved on May 27 agreement so far.

Prime Minister, Mohamed  Hussein Roble is the chairing the meeting, in attendance with Presidents of Puntland, Said Abdulahi Deni Jubaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islam Galmudug, Ahmed Abdi Kariye  and Southwest states, Abdiaziz Hassan  Mohamed and Mogadishu mayor, Omar Filish while Hirshabelle President, Ali Abdulahi Hussein Gudlawe will be participating via zoom.

The Prime Minister promised to lead the electoral process in quick and in trustful way.

Mr. Roble established the electoral commissions in federal and regional levels after Mogadishu agreement.
