Mogadishu, The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Mohamed Barre Mohamud met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China.
The minister and the ambassador discussed the areas where they can work together through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia which is in charge of guiding the international support.
Among the areas that were emphasized were the issues related to the development of sports as the minister asked the Chinese ambassador to build a sports village in Mogadishu.
The Chinese ambassador promised to support the Ministry of Youth and Sports in matters related to the development of sports, including sports scholarships.
