Former Al-Shabab militant surrenders to SNA forces in Dhusamareb

A former Al-Shabab insurgent surrendered to the Somali National Army (SNA) in Dhusamareb, Galgadud region, because of their brutality and the hardship they are undergoing after the Somali people with the help of the SNA forces are bushing the insurgents deep into the bushes.

Abdisamad Liban Mohamed, whose known name was Abdimalik, surrendered to the Somalia’s armed forces stationed in Dhusamareb.

Abdimalik was in charge of the Al-Shabab terrorist group’s information storage at Elbur region, and he took off with an AK47 rifle from the Al-Shabab militia.

He said that he joined the terrorist group in Mogadishu and was taken there 3 years ago as a high school student.

Abdisamad said that he could not withstand the terrible terrorist practices and the difficult circumstances facing the members of the group which forced him to escape and to surrender to the armed forces of the Somalia.
