A ceremony honoring the signing of an agreement on the Dhusamareeb airport maintenance project was held today in Mogadishu.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the Minister of Transport of the Galmudug State, Risaaq Mohamed Mohamud, the Ambassador of the Italian Embassy in Somalia, Mr. Albert Fiki and other members of the WFP.
The airport maintenance project that will continue until the end of this year has cost 3 million and one hundred thousand dollars.
This project, which was promised by the Italian government, is involved or implemented by WFP
