Minister of Information visits the wounded Somalis in the military hospital in UAE

Abu Dhabi, The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Daud Aweis Jama, visited the Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where some of the victims of the Zoobe bombing in Mogadishu are being treated.

The Minister was accompanied by the Acting Ambassador of Somalia to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Ahmed Dahir Mohamed and other officials, they heard reports about the condition of the patients from the doctors at the Abu Dhabi Military Hospital. The doctors told the Minister that the injured are undergoing treatment, and most of them are improving.

The Minister who is a member of the Cabinet of Ministers Committee for the Emergency of those who were injured in the Zoobe explosion, prayed to Allah to grant them full health and to return them safely to their homeland.

The Minister also thanked the doctors, the government and the people of the UAE for standing by their Somali brothers when they were faced with the problem caused by the terrorist Khawarij.

Minister of Transport meets with advisory board on the re-operation of Somali airlines

Mogadishu, The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mr. Fardowsa Osman Egal had a meeting with the advisory board for the re-operation of our national airline, the Somali Airlines, and they shared with her a report on what has happened so far.

The committee presented that it is time for the long-awaited re-operation of Somali Airlines, which they expressed good hope that it will soon be completed. The final report of the committee will be presented on 30 November 2022.
