Mogadishu, The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adan, received the heads of the Somali Banks Association in his office.
The meeting was attended by the State Minister of the Ministry, Dr. Maryam Mohamed Hussein Dulliye, Deputy Minister of the Ministry, Dr Mohamed Hassan Mohamed and senior advisers.
The heads of the Somali Banks Association gave the Minister reports on the unlimited cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
The Somali Banks Association praised that the Minister recognized the role of the Banks in Health Development which is always a big part, and noted that they will continue the work they do for the Somalia until it recovers.
The Union of Banks have underlined that they will finance Health Projects which are areas that should be promoted as our society needs health services in every area, and they described it as fulfilling their duty to their society (Corporate Social Responsibility) CSR.
The Minister finally urged the heads of the Somali Banks Association to invest in the Health Department to find a way to streamline the Health Service.
